John Vegter

John Vegter is the coordinator of the Labour Law section. Having started in 1978 as a generalist in various branches of legal practice, he can boast a lengthy career in law. His focus has been on individual and collective labour law since 2000. John acts as a sparring partner for entrepreneurs and P&O departments, working for large and medium-sized businesses, most of them active in the healthcare sector or in commerce. Additionally, he acts for private individuals (in higher management) in the resolution of labour law-related disputes.

John has a practical and customer-oriented attitude. The advice he offers can be succinct when the situation demands, or exhaustive if his client prefers to have various options to choose from. Underneath a calm exterior he is thorough and tenacious, for instance in cases where the other party fails to meet its obligations and must be forced to do so, through correspondence or in court. John enjoys communicating with colleagues and clients and finding suitable measures to resolve or prevent problems.
